CALICO RABBITS SELL POLICY
We reserve the right to refuse to sell a rabbit to anyone at any time during the purchasing process!
The health and saftey of our rabbits is our most important objective. We will refuse to sell a rabbit to anyone who practices cruelty or neglect towards any animal.
Return Policy:
It is part of our policy that if in the first week you decide that a rabbit you purchased from us is not fitting into your lifestyle for whatever reason your purchase price will be refunded once the rabbit is returned. This does not include any other fees such as a delivery fee. I am always willing to take a rabbit back even if it has been years provided that I have the space but reserve the right to provide a partial refund or none at all after the first week.
Injury or Death:
We strive to sell healthy rabbits though from time to time an animal might die unexpectedly. If a rabbit purchased from us dies within 48 hours (excepting injury through fault of the new owner) your purchase price will be refunded or if possible we will replace the rabbit with one of similar value. If the rabbit dies after 48 hours we reserve the right to issue a refund of the purcahse price only after a necropsy by a certified veterinarian. We are more than happy to discuss any issues with potential or new owners before and after the rabbit is placed.
Holding Fees:
We require a non-refundable holding fee of $10 to hold a rabbit for up to two weeks, for unweaned rabbits this two week period will start on the day they are ready to be rehomed. (Fee will only be reimbursed if something on our end causes purchase to be canceled.) The holding fee will go towards the purchase price of the rabbit when picked up. After the two week period your holding fee will be forfeit and the rabbit will be placed back up for sale unless other arrangements are made. Ultimately you are responsible for contacting us but we will try to provide notice 24 hours before the rabbit is placed back on the sale list. Without a holding fee it will be first come first serve unless previously discussed. No rabbits will be held longer than 24 hours without a holding fee.
